Abstract

In the proposed article, the authors set a goal – to identify the reasons for the lack of information in the published legal acts on the rehabilitation of Russian Greeks subjected to repressive influences in the 1940s and beyond.

In April 2014, the President of the Russian Federation issued a Decree "On measures for the rehabilitation of the Armenian, Bulgarian, Greek, Crimean Tatar and German backgammon and state support for their revival and development" dated April 21, 2014. No. 268, which was the next stage of correcting the mistakes of the past in the implementation of the state national policy. In this Decree, there is an obvious place for the Greeks who lived in the Crimean ASSR. However, as for the Greeks who settled and were repressed in the territories of other regions of the RSFSR (the North Caucasus, the Rostov region), they were not mentioned, they were not covered by these measures related to the rehabilitation of other peoples who found themselves in a similar situation. Naturally, the ethnic community of Russian Greeks expresses a request to finally solve this problem in relation to all Greeks of the Russian Federation.
